System Requirements

The current implementation version (V7.5) of the Cost Calculator is a Microsoft Access application that contains Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code. In order to run the Cost Calculator you need a personal computer (PC) running Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP that has Microsoft Access 2003 and Excel 2003 installed. A Pentium III processor, with 640 Mb of RAM, running at 1GHz is the minimum recommended for smooth operation of the Cost Calculator. The application will run on PCs with lower specifications but its operation will be considerably slower. It will also run under Microsoft Access 2002 and Excel 2002, but may occasionally ‘crash’ so that you have to re-open the application.
