Funding has been obtained for a partnership with Oregon Social Learning Center. This collaboration aims to adapt the unit cost methodology and the CCfCS for the child welfare system in the United States.

The Center plans to use the adapted Cost Calculator to conduct an economic evaluation of child welfare services and outcomes such as foster placement disruptions and reunification failures.
